Management of Severe Tooth wear: Diagnostics and treatment

About the course

A unique summer course in which innovative diagnostic tools and clinically useful tips will be presented to you! At Radboud University Medical Center at Nijmegen, the Radboud Tooth Wear Project includes several clinical trials on restorative treatments, which makes it at the time the largest center in the world on the management of tooth wear. In this 2-day course, that will include 50% hands-on training on fully equipped phantom heads, you will be educated in the most recent findings in diagnosis and treatment of severe tooth wear, from monitoring (which is not supervised neglect!), partial (Dahl) to full rehabilitation with direct and indirect techniques, including an increase of vertical dimension of occlusion. During the hands-on part we will train you in the DSO technique which is a proven technique to place direct composite restorations in tooth wear cases.

Your teachers will be Prof. dr. Bas Loomans and Dr. Niek Opdam and team members, all skilled operators and experienced researchers.
